Concern in Marshalls about lack of prosecutions

There are concerns that a lack of prosecutions by the Marshall Islands government could encourage criminal activities.

A businessman in the capital, Majuro, Jerry Kramer, says embezzlement charges were filed against two former employees a year ago, but nothing has happened since then.

The number of criminal cases filed by the Attorney General's office in the High court has declined by fifty per cent from 2001 to 2003
