The director general of the Apia-based environment organisation, SPREP, has said he cannot comment at this stage on the employment dispute at his organisation.
Asterio Takesy has been accused of harrassment in his treatment of two female employees, who have been sacked from the organisation.
The lawyer of one of the women has called on Mr Takesy to waive his diplomatic immunity so that action under employment legislation can be considered.
Mr Takesy says at this stage there are still outstanding issues that need to be discussed and resolved.
He says in the interests of protecting the privacy of the two people concerned and to safeguard the interests of Sprep he cannot make any further comment.
