The Vanuatu Met Service says a tropical depression that has brought heavy rain to central Vanuatu is moving away from the country.
Its director, Jotham Napat, says the system is south-southwest of Aneityum Island and moving southeastwards from Vanuatu.
The Met Service warns of rough to very rough seas.
On Sunday, Efate had a record 138.5 mm of rain.
