The Papua New Guinea government has launched a new monthly newspaper and website.
State Enterprise and Communication Minister Dr Puka Temu says the new website would be used to disseminate information and empower people to become development partners.
Dr Temu says the 12-page Gavamani Sivarai would be inserted in the two daily newspapers on the last Friday of every month.
Gavamani Sivarai will be in English but will carry Pidgin and Motu translations as well.
A previous government newspaper was discontinued in 1994 due to a lack of funds.
