Parts of American Samoa are under water for the third time in less than a year.
Our correspondent says non stop rain this morning caused streams to overflow and flooded roads.
She says some residents near streams which burst their banks during last May's devastating floods have been building stop banks.
The unstable weather is expected to persist up to tonight.
