The Archbishop of Canterbury is due to visit Solomon Islands today

The spiritual leader of the 70-million-strong Anglican church is set to arrive in Solomon Islands today.

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Doctor Rowan Williams, is to visit the graves of seven Melanesian Brothers killed last year during unrest on the Weathercoast of Guadalcanal.

Doctor Williams is to tour six of the eight Anglican dioceses in Solomon Islands and Vanuatu.
