Vanuatu foreign minister on Solomons visit

Vanuatu's Foreign Minister, Barak Sope, is in Solomon Islands visiting his country's police officers engaged under the Regional Assistance Mission to Solomon Islands.

Mr Sope says he is happy his country's police officers are helping their Melanesian brothers in ensuring the rule of law.

He has also visited the Weather Coast of Guadalcanal, the home of the leader of the former Isatabu Freedom Movement, Harold Keke.

He has also had talks with his Solomon Islands counterpart, Laurie Chan, and the Prime Minister, Sir Allen Kemakeza.
