The Pitcairn Supreme Court has been told that the present-day Mayor took it upon himself to initiate all the girls on the island as if they were his harem.
Steve Christian is alleged to have raped two women and indecently assaulted two others.
The police statement of one of the women accusing Christian of rape was read out in court in which she said the defendant seemed to take it upon himself to initiate all the girls.
Under cross examination the woman conceded she couldn't remember many of the details of the two alleged rapes, but denied she had given her consent.
