Veteran Cook Islands politician, Norman George, who lost his seat in last month's election, has filed an appeal in the High Court against a ruling dismissing his electoral petition.
Mr George had filed a petition after the Democratic Party's Eugene Tatuava was declared the winner in Atiu's Tengatangi-Areora-Ngatiarua constituency.
He had accused Mr Tatuava of trying to sway voters by treating.
But Justice Kenneth Hingston dismissed the petition.
Mr George says he hopes to have his appeal against this decision at the next sitting for the Cook Islands High Court on 9th November in New Zealand.
