Solomon Islander arrested for murder remanded

The Solomon Islands Magistrate Court has remanded in custody a 20 year-old male on murder charges in relation to the death of Australian Nick Constantine.

Mr Constantine was found dead at his business premises in Honiara last month.

Appearing before the Magistrate this morning, the suspect Leon Fox Folomae was remanded in custody and will reappear in court on November 12th.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Sandy Peisley, thanked the community for information which resulted in the arrest of Folomae.

Meanwhile, police are not ruling out further arrests over the death of Mr Constantine.
