The lawyer for Fiji's jailed vice-president, Ratu Jope Seniloli, says he's waiting for instructions from his client on whether to appeal to the Supreme Court over his conviction.
Mehboob Raza says he has 28 days from the Court of Appeal ruling to decide.
Mr Raza says it's up to Seniloli, who was convicted of taking an illegal oath to join the coup administration, if he wants to take the matter further although he believes there are legal grounds to do so.

IN: As far as the law is concerned, there's a strong possibility of the appeal being allowed. We're not satisfied with the Court of Appeal's reasons for the decision so legally that's the situation. Practically, he's an old man so he's deliberating on that, and if the appeal is heard in the Supreme court, that will take about another six months.
Two others convicted of the same offence, one of whom is the jailed deputy speaker of parliament, Ratu Rakuita Vakalalabure, are to appeal to the Supreme court.
