Another TV application in Fiji

Another company has applied to provide a free-to-air television service in Fiji and break the current monopoly.

TV2 Fiji says they would offer a world class standard of programmes to viewers in all parts of Fiji through satellite distribution at no cost.

The company's managing director, Ken Stratton, said from Sydney that it would be 100 percent Fijian-owned, with consultancy and back-up finance from Australia.
