Fiji's military commander says the country's security is under threat because those involved in the coup are governing it.
The Daily Post quotes Commodore Frank Bainimarama as saying some of the coup perpetrators are in the government, the Senate and in the governing bureaucracy.
He says the threat to national security is not the military but those coup perpetrators who are moving freely.
Commodore Bainimarama says the country cannot have long term stability unless and until these peopleare brought to justice.
He says if the military does not act and take the coup makers to task, the country will go to the dogs.
Commodore Bainimarama says investors will only come to Fiji once justice prevails and those who did wrong in 2000 are brought to justice.
He says since he has not been invited to attend meetings of the national security council for the last three years, it is his duty to brief his commander in chief, President Iloilo, on security.
