The six international airlines serving Tahiti in French Polynesia saw a drop on passenger volumes for November last year.

French Civil Aviation Office statistics show that November saw the number of seats booked on flights go down by just over five per cent compared with the same time the year before.

The figures lowered the increase in passenger numbers for the year ending in November to just under six per cent.

At the end of October that gain had stood at nearly seven per cent.
