More than a hundred police in Guam are helping in the search for a convicted murderer and robber who broke out of prison five days ago.
KU-AM TV reports police believe the two escapers are now desperate for food, water and weapons.
The Guam police continue to advise all residents to stay alert and aware of their surroundings, and to stay calm and avoid panic.
Frank Pangelinan is serving a life sentence for aggravated murder.
Jeffrey John Cruz was convicted for burglary and theft.
Meanwhile, the Guam Department of Corrections is training at least 60 additional officers.
The department is also asking lawmakers to provide funding for a new prison.
