Samoa approves cyclone aid to Pacific neighbours

Samoa's cabinet has approved financial assistance to its Pacific neighbours that were badly affected by cyclones in recent months.

The Cook Islands, Tokelau and Manu'a of American Samoa suffered severe damage, especially to homes and plantations.

A total of 11, 300 US dollars in financial assistance will be divided equally among the three recipients.
