The Samoan government has appointed a former police commissioner as the country's next ambassador to New Zealand.
Asi Blakelock will replace Feesago Siaosi Fepuleai.
The government has chosen a trade consultant within the foreign ministry, Tuala Falani Chun Tang, as Samoa's Belgium-based ambassador to Europe.
It has also announced a new chairman of the Public Service Commission.
He is a former diplomat, Feesago George Fepuleai.
