Air Fiji is to resume its services to Tonga using a Brasilia EMB120 aircraft.
The service first began in 1999 but was suspended last year because of regulatory issues brought up by the Tongan authorities.
The resumption will see three services a week operating from Nausori to Nadi and then Nuku'alofa.
A new service from Nadi to Tonga's northern Vava'u Group will also be introduced.
Meanwhile, Air Fiji is buying a new 60-seater aircraft for its main domestic services between Suva, Nadi and Labasa.
