A Canadian company has begun advertising in Fiji to recruit doctors, other health care professionals and skilled workers in several fields for permanent work and settlement in Canada.
T R Power and associates says Fiji professionals whose immigration assessment qualifies them to be in Canada would be provided assistance with immigration, job search and establishment in that country.
The company says medical authorities in Canada have confirmed that graduates of the Fiji School of Medicine would have their credentials recognised if they pass the pre-requisites established by the Medical Council there.
The company is also looking for other skilled workers such as nurses, carpenters, teachers and banking staff.
