Planned nurses strike in PNG avoided

Papua New Guinea's government has narrowly averted strike action by nurses tomorrow.

The Department of Health and the Department of Personal Management have come to an agreement over a stalled wages award with the nurses union before the given deadline.

The National Nurses Association had accused the Government of failing to properly implement an award given to them five years ago.
