Australian Federal Police are investigating a fight in Solomon Islands involving three of their personnel in which one officer suffered head injuries.
A police spokeswoman says the incident occurred nearly three weeks ago and appears to have involved an argument during which one member apparently lost their balance, fell and sustained a head injury.
Police have declined to give details about the sex of the officers but Australian radio reports the argument was between two women and one man.
The injured officer has reportedly been sent back to Australia.
No charges have been laid.
