The Vanuatu singer, Vanessa Quai, says she's been asked to travel to the United States next month to perform in support of victims of Hurricane Katrina.
Miss Quai has returned to Vanuatu after winning an international song contest in Romania.
Her father and manager, Nigel Quai says his 17-year-old daughter competed against professional adult singers and won the overall prize from the four finalists.
