Guam is to receive US$14 million dollars from the US government to help provide education, health care and other government services under its agreement of free association.

Guam is required to submit a plan to federal officials on how it will use the funds.

The US gives out about US$30 million each year to Guam, Hawaii, the Northern Mariana Islands and American Samoa, to help offset the costs associated with migration from the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia and Palau.
