Warwick to build Samoa hotel

Warwick International Hotel has signed a lease agreement with the Government of Samoa to build a new hotel in Vavau.

The company's Vice President, Jamal Serhan, said there would be 50 villas built in the first phase of the hotel development.

Construction should begin by the middle of next year.

Warwick International is also in discussions with the airport Authority to lease land next to Faleolo International airport to develop another 200 room resort.

Warwick has 34 hotels and about 6,000 rooms worldwide.

The company has two hotels in Fiji and one in Vanuatu.
