Police in American Samoa say they have seized a significant amount of drugs in a raid on a home in Leone.
The Commander of the Criminal Investigations and Intelligence Bureau, Vaa Sunia, said quite a substantial amount of crystal methamphetamine and marijuana was seized during the raid.
He was unable to give an estimate of the quantity of the drugs or their street value but said that this was the biggest amount of crystal methamphetamine, or ice, that they have seized.
Three people who were at the house when police arrived have been taken into custody.
Captain Sunia says the raid comes after an extended investigation.
