Fiji's military is continuing to defy successive High Court, Appeal Court and Supreme Court rulings ordering it to allow the Auditor General's Office to review six regimental funds.
In his latest report, the auditor general, Eroni Vatuleka, says he's disappointed that despite the court judgments, the military has appointed a private accounting company to audit three of the six regimental funds.
He says some of these accounts haven't been audited for a number of years going back to the early and mid 1990s.
Mr Vatuleka says failure to abide by the court rulings is contempt of court.
The issue goes back to the 1990s when the auditor general first took the military to court.
