The Governor of Hawaii is on an eight day tour of the Philippines in celebration of 100 years of Filipino immigration to Hawai'i.
Governor Linda Lingle is being accompanied by a 178-member delegation.
The cost of the trip is estimated to be about US$75,000 for airfare, transportation and accommodation.
