Hawaii Air Ambulance plane crashes, killing three

A Hawaii Air Ambulance plane crashed into a car dealership last night, killing three people on board.

KITV news reports the twin-engine Cessna 414 was heading from Oahu to Kahului when it crashed into the offices of BMW of Maui in Kahului.

The pilot and two medics - a man and a woman - died.

No injuries were reported among people on the ground at the scene of the crash.

Hawaii Air Ambulance remains in operation and the company will reserve further comment until an investigation had been completed by the US National Transportation Safety Board and its findings made public.
