In American Samoa, a fish cannery company is looking to go on a recruitment drive to employ 200 additional staff to clean fish.
Samoa Packing's general manager Herman Gebauer says it has to produce more canned tuna to meet demand from the US mainland.
The extra staff will bring Samoa Packing's work force to 2000.
For the past two months cannery workers have had to work an extra day on Saturdays.
