Fiji's police commissioner, Andrew Hughes, says the finger pointing has to stop and some solutions need to be found over what to do about Fiji nationals planning to enter Bougainville.
He says there is little the police can do in Fiji because no laws have been broken in Fiji.
Mr Hughes says the company that's reported to be recruiting people to go to the Papua New Guinea autonomous province of Bougainville is being monitored but nobody has done anything illegal under present laws.
He says the company is being monitored because of reports it has been conducting drill exercises and military style training in Fiji.
But, Mr Hughes says they cannot prevent the people it recruits from travelling overseas.

IN: If I was sitting there and there were other countries nationals coming into Fiji, I would be calling for some meetings to address this, and actively canvassing for solutions. But, I certainly wouldn't just be pointing the finger at the country saying these people shouldn't be here, knowing full well that there's not much that can be done to prevent them travelling.
