Fiji and Tonga notch up second win at Under 19 World Cup while Samoa suffer second defeat

A second half hat-trick from centre Tomasi Mawi helped spark Fiji to a convincing win over the United States to secure their second successive win in Division B of the IRB Under 19 World Championship in Dubai.

Fiji led 12-nil at halftime.

And Fiji coach ,Josua Toakula ,says he was always confident in his side.

"Although this is the first time, for us to enter this tournament this world tournament, I really trust my boys because it's a balanced team from the backline and my fowards they're all mobile."

And Tonga also scored a convincing win, beating Canada 29-14.

Tonga scored four tries to one, with Viliame Hakalo kicking the conversions and captain Paula Havea kicking a penalty.

But not so good news for Samoa who suffered their second loss in Division A this time to defending champions South Africa 44-nil.
