Samoa's ruling party has reconfirmed its leaders for another five-year term.
This was decided at the party's first caucus meeting since last month's election.

"The Human Rights Protection Party has re-elected the Prime Minister Tuila'epa Lupesoliai Sa'ilele Malielegaoi and the Deputy Prime Minister, Misa Telefoni, as its leaders for the next 5 year term."
The decision was made in the party's first caucus meeting on Monday. Prime Minister Tuila'epa says, the caucus decision was done in the fa'asamoa way.
The leadership decision was discussed amongscaucus members, but according to reliable sources within the party, the deputy leader was chosen in a vote.
Misa topped the poll with 19 votes, Faumuina Liuga was runner up with nine 9 votes while the highest ranking woman in the party, Fiame Naomi Mata'afa had 4 votes.
Tuilaepa says, the caucus will meet again after the final count to discuss a new Cabinet.
