French Polynesia's flag carrier has added a new weekly service between Papeete and Paris.
Air Tahiti Nui is now stopping in New York on the way to Europe after running flights via los Angeles.
This comes after last year's launch of Papeete to New York flights which were added to the route network following the introduction of flights from Sydney to Tahiti.
