Police in Solomon Islands say they will investigate the major copra fire at the Russell Islands Plantation Estate in Yandina as soon as it's safe to do so.
The company has suffered almost two million US dollars worth of fire damage to buildings and copra plantations in two fires in less than ten days.
RIPEL says damage to company property continues to occur and police have done nothing to bring the culprits to justice.
Police say they are aware of problems arising from the long running industrial dispute when a trade dispute panel ruled in favour of workers last year.
A police spokesman says the cause of the latest fire has not been established as they have been unable to investigate because of hot spots.
Police say there is no fire service on Yandina.
