34 year-old Panama Pio Sagote of Leone has been charged with one count of crystal methamphetamine as a result of a drug raid by police on Wednesday.
Court filings say police found a pill container in his trousers which had thirteen small plastic bags of white crystalline susbstances in each of them.
The discovery was made during a search on the defendant outside a Hardware store in Malaeimi.
Inside his vehicle, police found a glass pipe usually used for smoking.
Polcie also executed a search warrant of Mr Sagote's home in Leone in which a clear plastic bag containing white powder residue was found.
A leather pistol holster and an air rifle were also found.
