NZ sends ten observers to Fiji election

New Zealand will send ten observers to the week-long elections in Fiji which begin on Saturday.

The team will include two members of parliament, Marion Hobbs and Doug Woolerton.

The foreign minister, Winston Peters, says New Zealand is contributing more than three million US dollars to an overall package of support provided by New Zealand and Australia.
