Tonga has been hit by a series of aftershocks since yesterday morning's big earthquake.
The strongest aftershock was after midnight local time and measured 6 on the Richter scale.
No damage or injures have been reported from any of the aftershocks.
The tremor yesterday measured 7-point-8 on the Richter scale and triggered tsunami warnings in several countries in the Pacific region including New Zealand.
The warnings were later lifted.
