Netball Fiji has called for fresh trials to select a new training sqaud 14 months ahead of next year's World Cup in Suva.
The call comes after half of the players failed to turn up to the training sessions over the past three weeks.
Coach and Australian Meg Simpson says it's been quite frustrating not being able to contact the missing players.
"'So you know at this stage we've now taken the step to put in place a new selection trial so that that ones that we do obtain for the new squad are committed."
Meanwhile, shooter Matelita Shaw and Australia based defender Majorie Parr, have both pulled out due to pregnancy.
