An opposition Member of Parliament in Samoa plans to call 20 witnesses to give evidence in defending bribery and treating allegations filed against him by an unsuccessful Human Rights Protection Party candidate in this year's election.

The Supreme Court in Apia will tomorrow start hearing of the first election petition case by Tautoloitua Farani Posala against MP, Paepaeuatele Kapeli Su'a.

It is the only petition against an opposition MP.
