Solomon Islands Michael Leong and Samoa's Juan Langton for the first time have both qualified for the main draw of the 15-thousand US dollars ITF Futures tennis event in India.
Leong battled through his qualifying rounds, after a first round easy win over a local player, he went on to beat American Jeswin Jolly 6-4, 6-1 and then Dai-Chiao Lin from Chinese Taipei.
Langton had a slightly easier road with a bye in the first round before squeezing past Indian player Nikhil Murali 7-5, 6-2 and then beating another local player.
However the two players have another tough road with both players drawn to play seeded players from India.
Leong will play fifth seed Vishal Uppal from India who also has a world ranking of 518 while Langton comes up against fourth seed Karan Rastogi who was one of the world's top juniors in 2004, and has also played Davis Cup for India.
