The Fiji national netball squad have come together for the first of two tests against England starting tomorrow night.

Fiji are currently ranked eighth in the world and have brought together players from New Zealand and Australia.

Coach Megan Simpson says the new players are fitting in well with the home based players.

"They've started training behind the rest of the squad because we've been together a lot longer, but they're doing well as the games go on, and as we get more and more match competition, and I think their confidence will grow."

Meanwhile, 26-year-old Simone Nailatu, who plays for the Queensland Firebirds in Australia's national league says she's looking forward to the Test matches.

I'm just looking forward to see what the standards are like, i've been playing the national league over in Australia, so thats the higher standard there, so really excited about playing international level.
