Samoa's Polynesian Airlines has sealed an agreement with Hawaiian Air for codeshare flights between Apia and Honolulu.
The deal was secured during negotiations between the two airlines just recently.
Polynesia's chief executive Fatu Tielu says Hawaiian Air is finalising the details by applying for a license to fly to Samoa.
But he says a date to resume flights from Apia to Honolulu has yet to be set
