The Pacific Islands Museum Association Secretaeiat has relocated to Vanuatu from Fiji.
The scretaiat was located in the Fiji Museum in Suva and is now based at the Vanuatu National Museum in Port Vila.
The Pacific Islands Museum Association is a regional, multilingual, non-profit organisation which brings together people to preserve, celebrate and nurture the heritage of the peoples of the Pacific Islands.
It is the only regional organisation set up by the directors of the Pacific Heritage Institutions.
