A number of athletes competing in the Commonwealth, Oceania and Pacific Weightlifting Championships in Samoa are being put up at a church hall after a series of hotel overbookings.
Our reporter says teams from Australia, Romania, Italy, and England have spent several hours looking for accommodation after discovering that their booked rooms were no longer available.
The President of Samoa's Weightlifting Association, Tuaopepe Jerry Wallwork, says some hotels have informed them in the last minute that the booked rooms are no longer available.
The association was not available for comment, but Tuaopepe says it has to sort out the problems before next year's South Pacific games.
Some athletes are now accommodated at the Catholic Church centre at Leauva'a.
Meanwhile, it has been revealed that some teams, including those from Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea, have been forced to pull out of the competition because of the limited number of flights to Samoa.
