The Board of Directors of American Samoa's LBJ Hospital Authority has named a new CEO.
He is Mr. Kirk Gray who was most recently president and CEO of Tuba City Regional Healthcare Corporation which operates a hospital and outpatient clinics for the Navajo nation.
His appointment was announced in a memo distributed by the board to hospital employees on Friday.
Mr Gray has over 36 years of healthcare management experience.
He will arrive in the territory within a month and will work with current CEO Taufetee John Faumuina Jr. till the end of August before Taufetee retires.
