Fiji police waiting for medical results in six needle attack cases

Police in Fiji are waiting for blood results to find out if six young people have been injected with anything during an attack.

The first three reports of needle incidents were made in Suva on Saturday.

Another three claimed to have suffered similar attacks yesterday.

"The acting director of corporate communciations, Sylvia Low, says those who believe they were injected are all well :"

They haven't had any adverse reaction as such. They've been seen to and at this present time we're still waiting for the full meidcal report so we can ascertain if any substance was used at all.

Sylvia Low says four young women who were questioned over the attacks and released remain of interest to the police.
