More South Korean tourists visiting Palau

"Tourists from South Korea to Palau in June has increased by a record 1,334 ."

According to the Palau Visitors Authority 1,173 Koreans visited Palau in May, while in June there were 5,507 visitors, up 2 percent for the same period last year.

The Marianas Variety reports the increase was attributed to the continuous charter flights of Asiana Airlines to Palau.

Korean visitors were Palau's second largest tourism market after Taiwan which topped the list with 2,354 visitors in June.
