Think Regional says Fiji's TIB

The Fiji Trade and Investment Bureau says Pacific island countries need to think regional if they want to achieve export growth.

The Bureau says at a time when the Pacific region is experiencing rapid changes in global aid and trade regimes, island countries need to take advantage of the Free Trade Area agreed to by Forum island leaders.

The Fiji Times says the Bureau made the comment as it announced that another trade delegation to French Polynesia had left last Sunday.

It says if nurtured carefully, exports of Fiji products and services to regional markets can grow significantly.
