Solomon Islanders will start using their new 100-dollar note next week.

The SIBC reports the new note will be launched on Saturday.

The Central Bank Manager of Currency and Banking Daniel Haridi says the new 100-dollar denomination features a coconut, to highlight its contribution to the country's economy.
