A first time Congressional candidate Muavaefaatasi Ae Ae Jr is challenging Aumua Amata Coleman's eligibility to run in the November general elections.
Muavaefaatasi's challenge relates to Aumua Amata's residency.
This is Aumua's sixth attempt to be elected as American Samoa's non-voting delegate to the US congress and her residency status had never been challenged.
Both candidates are from Pago Pago.
Amata says the petition is ridiculous.
